Näsinranta is a seaside cottage located only 15 meters from the shoreline, on the Finnish forest slope. It has a private wood-heated sauna.

The cottage has a small livingroom with a fireplace (sofa bed) and a sleeping alcove for two persons. The large terrace overlooks the sea and has a perfect view for evening sun and sunset. The terrace was extended in the summer 2021 to the sunny and windless south side of the cottage. 

There is a separate entrance through the dressing room to the traditional Finnish wood-heated sauna. The sauna was renovated in the winter 2022. There is no shower in the traditional Finnish sauna. The sauna stove heats the washing water. The kitchen water can be heated with an electric kettle or on the stoves.

It is a short way to the pier to drop by morning or sauna swimming. The beach is stony and there is a pier. There is a rowing boat available. The slipway and the place for a boat trailer is at 700 m distance, 350 m by water.

Kitchen description
Näsinranta has an own well with drinkable water. There is no hot water. The private sauna is wood-heated. In the sleeping alcove there is a small hand dish corner, the stoves are in the living room.

Yard description
Näsinranta locates very near the sea, at the end of a small village road with no traffic. The terrace for the evening sun and for the midday sun.

Shore description
The beach floor is clay topped with sand and there is a rowing boat available. Also a pier. The beach is very near. The boat track passes by, but even you can admire the sailing boats, no one sees you, because of the trees guarding the cottage.

Activities description
There are small forest roads which are nice to walk or cycle. The forests are growing berries and mushroom later on the summer and autumn.

A genuine Archipelago restaurant Nixor 7 km. Tiiranta, the village kiosk shop and restaurant year around 4 km. Cafe Vinssi 5 km.

You can rent a boat from Ylöstalo and go to fish the famous Baltic sea pikes, perches or perchpikes. Or maybe you want to hire a hot tub with the sauna?

Driving instructions
Take the road Salo - Tammisaari / Ekenäs (road no 52). In Perniö, turn towards Kemiö / Kimito (road 183).

At Ylönkylä, about 8 km from Perniö, from the Perniö-Kemiö / Kimito road (183) turn to Särkisalo (road 1823). Drive this road 6 km, across the bridge to Särkisalo island. 3,5 km after the Särkisalo Village, at the radio mast, turn to the right, sign NORRBYNTIE, YLÖSTALO FARM.

Drive 1 km sandy road Norrbyntie, and turn to the left, Länsitalontie. After 400 m Länsitalontie, at the crossing of Länsitalontie and Iso-Keisarin tie, there is an info board to our cottages.

The labyrinthine Archipelago Sea, off Southwestern Finland, has more islands than any other archipelago in the world. It has also been described as the world's most beautiful archipelago. Scheduled ferry services take you to the main islands all year round from Kasnäs, only 60 minutes trip.

Ekenäs Old Town with its wooden houses spreads out to the seashore. Ekenäs has for centuries been populated by skillful craftsmen, and that can be seen from the old street names. The mining village of Mathildedal in the neighbor of Teijo National Park is a perfect day trip destination. Beer, coffee, chocolate and pastries made in the village can be found in Mathildeal's shops. You can also buy yarn spun in a spinning mill, rag rugs, scarves and towels made in a weaving mill, as well as brushes and baskets made from natural materials. Many shops sell high-quality clothes.
