The seaside cottages for rent
Ylöstalo's cottages and villas are including eight different holiday buildings for rent, six of which are located by the sea having a pier of their own. All cottages have a wood-heated sauna. Ylöstalo has been engaged in farm tourism for five decades, starting with bed and breakfast. In addition to the cottages, the farm now has motorboats for rent and the marine party house Villa Meri and the archipelago restaurant Nixor. In the summer season, the cottages are used by holidaymakers. In the autumn, as soon as the waters cool down and, in the spring, when the ice leaves, the fishermen groups arrive at the cottages.
The famous pike fishing spots of Särkisalo attract catch and release fishermen, and several groups have been fishing from Ylöstalo's cottages for decades.
Large seaside villas
The three largest villas are identical Iso-Keisari and Näsinlinna with ten beds and a slightly smaller Keisarinna. These cottages are suitable for larger families when several generations are vacationing at the same time or for larger fishing groups. If you make the reservation in good time, you can easily reserve the identical Näsinlinna and Iso-Keisari cottages for the same group. If you have your own boats, you can drop them off at Ylöstalo Marina. Keisarinna with its large courtyard is located near the marina.
Small villas and cottages
The cottages Villa Albin and Villa Rufus, comfortable and stylish villas from 2015 welcome guests in the middle of a small forest. Through the trees is looming the Baltic Sea. Nearby Ylöstalo marina serves as a boat landing place. Both cottages can comfortably accommodate six people.
The traditional cottage Pekkala offers seascapes on a rocky slope, while the small Pikku-Keisari is located right on the water on the cliffs. Both cottages have an one-wall-size window for evening sun with unforgettable view over the sea. There are 5-6 beds in Pekkala. In Pikku-Keisari there are 4 beds, 2 of them in the loft.
The smallest, red tiny cottage Näsinranta, can be found at the end of the small road right on the beach. Näsinranta is a modest but very popular traditional grandmother's cottage.
